Triumph TR250 Restoration

Today I installed the driver's side kick panel. I figured it would be easier to install before I put the hood release in. I also installed the headlight dimmer switch. Since the new kick panels don't have screw holes pre-drilled a technique I use is to put the screws in their location and put a dot of grease on the heads and then offer up the kick panel and push it in so it makes contact with the screws, and it will leave a grease mark where you need to drill the holes. I attached the hood release cable but wasn't able to finish the install since I forgot to clean and paint the clip that holds the cable to the latch, so I sandblasted it and painted it so it will be ready tomorrow.

My brother finished polishing the side trim, he had started the polishing yesterday and applied the final polishing step today. They came out great. He also installed the clips and attached the driver's side molding.
