Mostly of you already know there's a secret battle vs Professor Oak, right? You can acess it using a glitch on Lavender Town. That battle was meant to happen somewhere, but was scrapped on the final versions of the game.

The REAL LOCATION OF THE BATTLE WAS FOUND!! On the beta versions, after you beat Elite Four and Gary, you had to go to Silph Co to catch Mewtwo, not on Cerulean Cave. You had to face the Silph Trial, which consists on beating few trainers, all the gym leaders again and Professor Oak, the strongest one.

Note: The game's code of beta versions was leaked a few years ago. Everything was revealed! The removed areas, the removed 39 pokémon (there were 190, not 151), and the rest of the other stuff. That's why we can have acess to this.

There you have it, guys. Surprised? You wanted to have the Silph's Trial on the final versions of Red, Blue and Green?
