In this video I show how I map out the shape for a guitar neck contour. I shape the neck contour with rasps, files, sanding sticks and sandpaper to create a smooth straight C shaped contour with flawless transitions at the heel and valute. I've been using this technique for a long time because I've never had a deadhead sander ( looking into making my own ) or any type of machinery that could make this task easier.
