Episode 2: Cutting the trees for the remote, off grid cabin!

In this video I will share my experience with cutting trees for our cabin project. After watching, you'll find that some efficiencies can be gained from cutting the trees first and leaving the branches on to help them dry. My first trip (first section of the video) shows how we cut, trimmed and put the logs into a pile. That process was VERY time consuming and we learned to just cut and let them fall just to make a plan to trim them and drag them to a log yard at a later time. I am thankful for all those that contribute to YouTube to help me learn better ways to do things. Some things, however, will be discovered as you do the work.
