Replacing a Faulty Blue & Me ECU Module - 2024 UPDATE - Fiat 500 or Abarth - Love 500 How to Series

Here is a step by step guide how to remove and replace your faulty Blue & Me ECU Module in an Abarth or Fiat 500. This video was originally done in 2023 but since then I now repair the Blue & Me so offer this service for £60 plus delivery. Also, it has been suggested by others that you can make a cut in the plastic by the rear seat belt anchor and avoid taking that bolt out. This has been slotted into the video for a 2024 update.

Don't forget to disconnect the battery when working on any electrical equipment within a vehicle.

Minimal tools required. You will require MultiECUScan software and cables to perform a proxy alignment if you replace the unit with one from another car. If you have yours repaired by me, then a proxy alignment is usually not required.

You will also need a cheap set of "modified" cables from eBay. For most things you only need the ELM adapter and a yellow cable.

Symptoms of problems are very common and you may have all or some of these. Whether it's nothing happening when you push buttons on the steering wheel, flashing mileage, battery drain etc etc. If you remove your blue and me.
