This video seeks to answer a lot of SPEED RUNNING questions.
After doing the math and emperically testing in game it appears that SHIELD + Stone Skin Totem is better then even Earth Bind + 2 Hander Kiting Method.

I spend most of this video trying to prove this in real time.

TLDR = It is said by Kargoz and Friends that the Earth Bind with Slow 2 Hand Method = about a 40% Damage Reduction Buff to your Shaman.

Well I compared mana costs and tested Shield + Stone Skin and found it to be close a 50% Damage Reduction or BETTER.

If you don't know your math... a 40% DR = +2/3 effective standing HP AND Healing Efficency... 50% DR = 100% Increase. So going from 40% to 50% DR is a 50% increase in your Damage Reduction Efficiency.

Which basically means if you think 40% DR is good... 50% is WAY WAY WAY Better. And the Mana you save will do more for your DPS then what you gain from a 2 hander. Win.

And you don't have to dance around like a dumby, possibly pulling extra mobs and slowing your leveling speed. Win Win.
