Harold B. Thompson Jr. preaches the message “The Church Triumphant in Hope” on Saturday evening of the Centennial General Assembly of the Church of God. Reverend Thompson challenges young people under twenty-five with their potential as the future of the church.

Prior to the message, North Cleveland Children’s Choirs (Kings Kid’s and Junior Choir), New Harvest directed by Danny Murray and featuring Judy Jacobs, the Teen Talent Festival Choir, and Steve Lowery offer musical selections. Quan L. Miller, Charles E. Fischer, Robert White also lead in the service. As a special feature of this recording, Bennie Triplett interviews John D. Nichols.

The World Congress Center in Atlanta is host of the 61st General Assembly meeting July 29-August 3, 1986.
