First Polish in 20 Years | Rolex Datejust 36mm Salmon Dial 16234 | Watchtrader & Co

This is a 2001 Rolex Datejust 36mm in steel that features a salmon pink sunray dial with roman numerals.

The watch is 20 years old and has never been polished. It came to the store in relatively good condition considering the age of the timepiece, however a polish is due to bring the watch up to retail standard.

We sent the watch to our refinishing workshop where the watch case and bracelet is professionally refinished by an experienced craftsman. The process involves a full watch case disassembly including removal of the movement. The watch case and bracelet components are polished and refinished before being placed into an ultrasonic cleaning machine. After numerous rounds of steam cleaning and drying, the watch parts are then carefully reassembled ready for pressure testing.
