Mpix Premium Panoramic Photo Book Review

Here’s a review of my experience with Mpix. I ordered two 8X8 panoramic matte wedding albums for our parents.

The good:
•great quality
•Affordable price (wait for a sale, they always have 40% off sales
•Thick pages
•Easy to use editing software
•Great for parent albums
•Picture quality is pretty good
•Amazing customer service! I had an issue with the coloring of one of my books, and they were so quick to respond. At some times, I would get a response within ten minutes
•Free and fast shipping. For my first book, I received it within 24 hours. The second one took about a week or so to get. It was also free with my order too! (Note: they are based about two hours from where I live- not sure if that helped speed the delivery process up)

Could be better:
•I ordered my book with a fabric cover. However it only comes in plain. You can’t add any words in the cover or spine. •They offer a dust jacket for extra which works. But wish they offered something different.
•Color issue (they did quickly replace it)
•Doesn’t lay flat 100%
•Good quality for parent albums or just random albums. But wouldn’t use it for my album. But a good quality and option if you are on a budget and want a nicer option that is not Costco, Walmart or Shutterfly.

Overall, really great deal for a quality book. Would use again for other albums for personal use or gifts.

3/21 UPDATE: I just checked and it looks like MPIX made some updates to it's albums! You can now get their signature album that includes embossing for $15. They also added a blank page, so the first page you open to isn't counted as one of your picture pages.
