EP 7 Bhalukpong, Tippi to Kaziranga National park | Nameri eco camp Assam

In the previous episode you saw that we reached Bhalukpong which is the border town of Assam. It shares border with Arunachal Pradesh. We got the ILP and went in to see Tippi.

Generally tourists stay at Bhalukpong, if they want to travel to Tawang in Arunachal pradesh.

Looking at hills of Arunachal Pradesh border was a breathtaking experience. We enjoyed food assamese food on the way and finally our day ended with grand Assamese thali at Horn Bill restaurant at Kaziranga.

Bhalukpong tourist lodge

Per Night - Rs 600 tariff.. 5 rooms..non ac.. no tv only geyser... address.. Since they have few rooms only, so if you want to stay here you need to book in advance.

Norling Momos: This is a small eatery on Bhalukpong border. They serve tasty chicken soup and momos.

Chicken Momos - 70Rs

Nameri Eco Camp: This is a famous place of this region, travellers who are interested in spending time at Nameri National park , stay here overnight and also enjoy doing river rafting at Nameri.

Due to paucity of time i missed both these activities at Nameri.
For your information - You have to do jungle trekking at Nameri National park, gunmen accompanies the tourist and you do Nameri National park on foot.

This is a 212 sq km big national park it adjoins with Pakhui tiger reserve in Arunachal pradesh. Key animals found here are: Gaur, Asiatic wild dog, Himalayan black bear, Sloth bear and many more.
