To be clear, since I don't think I made it obvious enough in the video itself, I am still very excited for Black Ops 6 Zombies and do think the Liberty Falls backlash is somewhat blown out of proportion. I think a lot of the backlash from the map could've been reduced if they handled the reveal differently, which I discuss in the video. Whilst I think there still would've been backlash for the atmosphere and systems on launch, I think it wouldn't have been anywhere near to the degree if it wasn't revealed in the way it was. This was a massive mistake by Treyarch/Activision, likely costing them a lot of cancelled pre-orders due to bad word of mouth, even though the event itself costed so much. Also, regarding the HUD specifically, whilst I am personally not that big of a fan of the HUD, I similarly don't think it's the end of the world. I think the backlash comes from a lot of things combined (not any one thing on its own) and the fact Treyarch never properly explained certain HUD features can be removed in the event for those who don't like certain aspects.
