Hello everyone, welcome to SA Today on 25 September 2025. We begin today's video with a heavy rain storm in Johannesburg and Mid Vaal in the Gauteng Province of South Africa. The heavy rain at Van Reenens Pass, Phoenix and Blue Horizon Bay. Beautiful mountain along the R518 towards Mokopane. Close to the village Mmamatlakala. We go on the Weltevrede Wine Estate tour in Bonnievale. Construction is taking place at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. Then Jacobsbaai stroll near Hospitaalbaai. Then, we cross the Botriver near Fisherhaven in the Western Cape Province. Go on a sunset cruise at Cape Town Harbour. Walk around the Shongweni Farmers Market. Stay over at the Blue Bay Lodge in Saldanha, and we will show several other locations across South Africa today.

The weather forecast across South Africa today is as follows:
Today, South Africa will experience an icy morning with light frost in some areas of the Karoo and northern highlands of the Eastern Cape Province. Cool to cold conditions with isolated showers and thunderstorms in north-eastern South Africa. Warmer and sunnier in the west, but still cool in the south of South Africa. Impact-based warnings from SAWS include a yellow Level 2 warning for disruptive rainfall potentially causing flooding and infrastructure damage in extreme north-eastern KwaZulu-Natal Province. Another yellow Level 2 warning is in place for severe thunderstorms with heavy rain, strong winds, excessive lightning, and small hail in the north-eastern parts of North West Province, Gauteng Province, and Mpumalanga Province.
