Haleakala National Park, Mount Haleakala Sunrise (Maui Hawaii Vlog)

In this Maui Hawaii Vlog, I will be taking you with me to Haleakala National Park to watch sunrise at the Mount Haleakala Volcano. At this time, only 50 vehicles are allowed up to the Mount Haleakala Summit for sunrise, making it a very secluded and special experience. We woke up at 4am and drove 1.5 hours to watch an incredible sunrise over the Mount Haleakala Crater. Although sunrise over Haleakala requies an early wake up call, it is well worth it! Sunrise over Mount Haleakala was definitely one of the best sunrises I have ever seen. I really think it is the best sunrise in both Maui and all of Hawaii.

Mount Haleakala is part of the National Park Service and stands over 10,000 feet above sea level. Mount Haleakala also holds special significance in Hawaiian history. Legend has it that Hawaiian royalty is buried inside the Mount Haleakala Crater, which was known as a very sacred place.
