Only eight more to go!! Episode 23 reviews My Norwegian Holiday starring Rhiannon Fish and David Elsendoorn. Meet JJ, a grad student and substitute teacher, who, in the most convoluted way possible, gets the chance to travel to Norway for Christmas after a run in with Henrik, an Olympic skier who hails from the Norwegian town of Bergen. Armed with her late grandmother's carved troll, which she finds out was made in Bergen, JJ is hoping to find the person who carved it and little bit more about her grandmother. But that Norwegian magic works is way into JJ's heart as she bonds with Henrik, who has secrets of his own, and finds out that she may just have a bit of family in Bergen after all. This movie started slowly and strangely and, if I am being honest, was headed for hell for the first hour. However, it picked up in the second hour with a good twist and a lovable grandma that had this movie claw its way back to respectability. However, we were still a bit disappointed that it didn't have anything really about trolls, or Bergen's, Trollstice, or Justin Timberlake. Also, in the preview, Jason tries to make a play for Nicolas Cage as a Hallmark dad. I'd be here for that!
