How To Change Your Discord Username & Profile Picture

To change your Discord username, go to your user settings, find the “My Account” section in the sidebar, type a screen name of your choosing, then enter your password to verify.

You’ll also be able to find or change your Discord tag numbers here, which are your account’s unique numerical identifiers. We need these since some stork somewhere has probably given the name “beegwumpus24” to a different person, and we need a way to show that you both are different users even though you have the same username.

If you navigate to the “User Profile” section in the sidebar, you can hover over your PFP and click on it to “Change Avatar.” You can use any image or profile picture you’d like to, be it a large Wumpus, pie Wumpus, fancy Wumpus, you name it. If you want to, you could even use something other than Wumpus as your profile picture! We really live in a society!
