Rod Skelley is a singer/songwriter and composer based in Central Pennsylvania. His unique instrumental creations are in the genres of New Age, Crossover Classical, Industrial Electronic. Many of Rod's compositions feature music for nylon strung classical guitar reimagined in a more modern style. Influences include traditional classical composers like Manuel Ponce and Heitor Villa-Lobos, contemporary classical composers like John Cage, Lou Harrison, Henryk Mikołaj Góreck, Leo Brouwer as well as minimalist composers like Steve Reich, Phillip Glass, John Adams, Arvo Part and Cosmo Sheldrake, plus crossover composers like Moby and Trent Reznor.
