FEAR OF DEATH | Sacred teachings from Trulku Jigme choda | Je of Bhutan |


Trulku Jigme Choda, also known as Jekhenpo, served as the Chief Abbot of Bhutan. He was born in 1925 and ordained as a monk at a young age. Throughout his life, he played a significant role in preserving Bhutanese culture and Buddhist traditions. He was appointed as the 69th Je Khenpo, the highest religious figure in Bhutan, in 1991, and served until his passing in 2008. During his tenure, he focused on promoting Buddhist education and guiding spiritual practices in the country. His contributions to Bhutan's religious and cultural heritage are widely respected and remembered.
