She is an eminent psychiatrist, author, and wellness coach based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She serves as Associate Professor of Psychiatry at IMS & SUM Hospital-2 and is the Founder of Swayam Mind Clinic & Wellness Centre, a holistic space dedicated to mental health, emotional resilience through pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy and various transformative coaching programs.

A distinguished academic and clinician, Dr. Baral holds an MBBS and MD in Psychiatry from MGM Medical College, Indore, a Diploma in Psychological Medicine from the Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP), Ranchi, and a Fellowship in Psychosexual Medicine. Her years of service as a faculty at CIP Ranchi, particularly in the Female Psychiatry Unit, deepened her commitment to women’s mental health, resilience, and empowerment.
