Welcome to Part 1 of my complete walkthrough for the Tomb Raider 2013 reboot! This is where Lara Croft's origin story begins, transforming her from a frightened shipwreck survivor into a hardened warrior.

In this episode: We experience the intense opening cinematic as the ship Endurance is destroyed by a violent storm. Lara washes ashore on the mysterious island of Yamatai, only to be immediately captured. We must guide her through a harrowing escape from the scavenger den, learn the basics of survival in the Coastal Forest, find the first Base Camp, and make Lara's difficult first kill to survive the night.
