Well... He sure is a Lot!

These four recorded attempts are heavy on the accessories in order to try and find a better order in monsters Absorbed vs Killed.
Have run into a hard wall due to Comatose. I can make a team dedicated to Evading it, but requires such strong compromises for the Break turn that it would make a F2P team difficult to plan for. I don't think it's impossible.
I can make a team that can do the damage needed as F2P, but still need to figure a way to get them to Break reliably.
I think Elem is simpler in setting up. Phys or Elem should be able to do this.

The frustrating part is having to rely so much on Dark Priestess to constantly impart Evade Elem. Sazantos, Osvald, Temenos, H'aanit EX, Pardis, Fiore EX, and some others can do so themselves, but are extremely limited in dealing with Comatose in regards to how often it's needed. Pets make a huge difference and it will likely be smoother to use them more often. But the more compromises to Attack the harder it is for the Break Turn.
I have tried different orders of killing vs letting him Absorb monsters to see if there is any particularities in his application of attacks. It appears to be simply an Amount of how many he Absorbs, not the Order.
Have not found a way to stop his constant two Comatose attacks or his 2 hit RT Row Swap. Unless there's something I'm missing it looks like we have to deal with that...

In spite of that I have learned some things!

Have found that he Prioritizes the Monster w/ the lowest HP to Absorb first. Seemed true for all of my attempts.
With how much there is to Defend against I believe Nier is the single best contender for a F2P clear. The extra Break turn allows far more team variation.
I have doubts about even trying for a Two Break. With how much it takes to get him there I think it's better to prepare for One.
The fight appears simple in concept. Let him Absorb enough to lower his Defenses and Shieldguard while also killing enough monsters to lower his HP and Shield Total enough for your team.
Looks like a workable ratio of Absorb/Kills is: 5/4, 6/3, or 7/2.
5/4 has low shields and may be easier to break if using Countdown skills, but higher defense. Nier almost certainly needed for F2P.
6/3 is a good compromise in that there should be a greater variety in teams able to break and deal damage.
7/2 looks difficult. Low defense but more difficult to Break.
Will need Heavy Shield Shaving as he Fully Restores his HP and Shields on his First Action Every Turn. Meaning once everything is set up the turn before you'll have to Break him Fast. The 8-Hit Bunny looks the most Reliable as Light is one of the easier weaknesses to keep open. Maybe Tiziano could enable Lykaon?
He never Cleanses your Team.
Ailments may be a good method to lower the RNG here. Paralysis/Charm could make or break an attempt. Should not be relied on, but for the right team it might work.

Has been a hectic work week and have had very little time for anything else.

This small contribution is the culmination of ~ 30 attempts so far. There is still room for improvement!
