SNAPDRAGON - Followup to Part 1

In this video, I was not able to connect with Tim in time for this discussion, but I go into the critiques of some modern conceptions of the atonement. I believe there is much evidence that those who are otherwise convinced that these modern conceptions are ancient or original are committing an anachronistic fallacy at many points and causing unnecessary collateral damage to the reputation of God the Father.

This is likely to serve as an interlude between our discussions since part 2, at the time of this writing, has yet to be scheduled.

We cover how the ordering of concepts in the Bible (or "how to connect the dots") matters just as much as the dots themselves. We also cover some assumptions in satisfaction theories, concessions we will make with our interlocutors, the different tiers of these modern conceptions of atonement, caricatures vs. natural consequences of these views, anticipated objections, walking through Isaiah 53, questions to our interlocutors, and insights by an accredited author Kevin George who wrote "Atonement and Reconciliation".
