**a special note to those working the XL size: sometimes its just the way the pattern-math crumbles, but the XL size can bunch in the front slightly, this can be accommodated for by slip stitching into MORE stitches on the sweater while working the collar (to tighten it up).

🪡 Hook: 5.5mm (or whatever you need to match the gauge).
🔖 Stitch Markers: 4 (in two different colors to differentiate the front and back).
📏Gauge: 22 sts by 13.5 rows on a 6x6" (15x15cm) swatch in linked double crochet. I tried my best to avoid "half" stitches in the gauge, because I know it doesn't sit right with some people! So you can also think of it as 9 rows in 4" if you don’t like counting ‘half’ stitches.
