Paternoster is not one of those bands that you can put aside your personal point of view and talk about. By internalizing too much, we can summarize it as one of the groups that you attach to in a way that almost hurts you. They are also one of the rare groups that have achieved this with the only album they recorded and released.

Founded in 1970 in Vienna, Austria, the band is often referred to as Krautrock, but its accuracy is debatable. Although fed by Pscyhedelic Rock and German culture, they take their place in Progressive Rock, unlike Krautrock. Wheezing, crackling guitars and echoing sounds, which are based on Krautrock, are present in the album, but it can be easily seen that they appear in a more primitive way. However, anyone can call it Krautrock.

The group, which started preparations for the album shortly after its establishment, spent long hours in the studio, broke up right after the album was released in 1972. During their 2 years of musical life, they listened very well and left a solid album.
