Additionally, for skills like programming, teachers’ experience and knowledge matters a F* ton, because it’s not just about delivering theory and demos. It’s about how much we can trust the person teaching us.

Is what they’re teaching actually correct and up-to-date? If they teach a best practice, does the reasoning include nuance or pitfalls? Can they provide meaningful personal stories that relate to the topic in a concrete, visceral way?
