"That's a very nice thing, because with Agri PV we don't lose land like we do with open space, because that agricultural land is then lost. And here with our project, we can still do agricultural production underneath (the anti-hail net). The only question is whether this can take place to the same extent as it does now under the agricultural crop protection, to the standard set under the anti-hail net. And for this we have also included the anti-hail net as a comparative variant to Agri PV in our trial design."

"The sugar contents are also a little bit offset (note: compared to the fruits under the anti hail net). We also have a little bit less sugar content here than (the apples) under the anti hail net. But what we have also seen is that, in the sunburn event that we had on 7/24, that we have virtually no damage here and under the anti hail net we were averaging 6% for all varieties and even 18% here for the Elstar variety."
