We are sooooo excited to share our first vlog from our snowboarding trip to Crested Butte. This was a last minute adventure we decided to take because our original plans for that weekend were suddenly canceled. We couldn’t have timed things better because we realized that we were heading down on closing weekend! The drive from Denver to Crested Butte is absolutely spectacular and one of our favorites in Colorado so far. Whether you order take out or pack a lunch, you MUST stop at the Collegiate Peaks overlook to enjoy a bite to eat and a spectacular view of the mountains. Please note there is a fee to stop there but you have access to bathrooms, tables, trash bins, etc. There is very little internet on the way to Crested Butte so make sure you plan your internet usage accordingly. The drive was absolutely breathtaking and the rest of the evening we spent getting settled into our Airbnb.

After the 2020 pandemic shut everything down, we decided to make more time to explore our own state: in part for our own mental wellbeing and in part because we’ve been living here over 5 years and have barely hiked more than 10 different trails. We married on Valentine’s Day 2010 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. #Travel has always been something that we both love and have done quite a bit of in the 15 years we’ve been together.
