Amazing Personalities of Trinidad & Tobago - Joey Ng Wai

Joey Ng Wai is a guitarist, producer, band leader and owner of the Imij brand.
His list of bands include:
Zoom and the Band, Frantic, Second Imij, Joey and Friends, Minds Eye, Imij and Company and The Experience.
His band Second Imij produced two timeless songs, Jump on the count of 4 and Golo, which is still played at most events.

He also received Best Engineered Recording for the Album Contagious by Second Imij in 1992 which he was the Co Producer.

In 2001 his band and creation Imij and Company was part of a Coca-Cola Campaign Called Rock yuh Crib, a promotion that ran for 3 years, Imij and Company remains the only photograph to be placed on a Coca-Cola label, other the Mr. Clause.

In 2010, he produced a song called Fetting for Days which went straight to the Finals of the then prestigious Soca Monarch in Trinidad & Tobago.

He had the opportunity to play guitar for Mike Reno of Loverboy and Jimi Jamison of Survivor for their local leg of their tour.

As to his personality, his laid-back jovial charm exhibits a straightforwardness that is welcoming.
