Join Together (The Who cover) | Playing For Change Day 2018 | Maine Academy of Modern Music

The Maine Academy of Modern Music (MAMM) is a nonprofit music school based in Portland.  As Maine's own "School of Rock", MAMM offers programming across the state including after school lessons, youth rock bands, summer camps, children's concerts, and brass, chorus, and strings programs.  MAMM also has an extensive community outreach and scholarship program which serves over 1,200 Maine students annually.

To celebrate the 2018 Playing For Change Day, MAMM partnered with a number of local filmmakers to create this video in which MAMM students and faculty members perform The Who's "Join Together", written by Pete Townshend.  

The video is a celebration of MAMM, its students, and its school community, and serves as an open invitation for ALL Maine kids to grab an instrument and join our band!
