Tifa and Aerith: Female Friendship Done Right (Part 1)

As I have been getting deeper into the Final Fantasy 7 fandom, I have found how toxic it can be when it comes to the Cloti and Clerith ships. While my horse in the race is Cloti, I take issue with how Aerith and Tifa are put down as well as the fans who share different opinions. So, I decided that it was time to focus on Tifa and Aerith's friendship on my channel.

This is just part 1, which covers the beginning of their friendship as explored in Remake and I mention context from Kazushige Nojima's book, Traces of Two Pasts, which tells their story before the events of the game. In part 2 I will cover how they confided in each other while traveling through the grasslands and aboard the Shinra 8, which led to Traces of Two Pasts, as well as their friendship explored in Rebirth.
