Jonathan Stout - Front Porch Practice Session - 1939 Gibson L-5

Original done as a Facebook live video, I decided to put the whole thing up here as well. I've been trying to work up enough tunes (and keep them all in my head) to play a set or two of solo guitar. Practicing alone just isn't the same as having an audience, so I starting doing occasional Facebook live videos of my practice sessions to hold me accountable.

Anyway, here's a bit of my 1939 Gibson L-5 live from my front porch through an iPhone 8 mic and onto Facebook live, street noise and all.

Since I get asked a lot, it's strung with a set of Martin SP 80/20 strings in Medium (i.e. 13's), but with a 14 and 18 swapped in on the E and B.
