Описание к видео Androgenetic Alopecia an Integrated Treatment Approach

Today, everybody wants to look smart and handsome. And the hair on your head/scalp plays a very important role in enhancing the overall personality of a human being (male/female). Due to multiple factors, a lot of people are facing the problem of hair fall. Naturally 50-100 hairs fall every day of an individual is considered to be normal. However, in certain cases this hair fall exceeds the limits. This condition is called androgenetic alopecia.

Androgenetic alopecia is a common form of hair loss in both men and women. In men, this condition is also known as male-pattern baldness. Hair loss is observed in a well-defined pattern, beginning from both the temples or from the center of the scalp. During hair loss from temples, the hairline recedes to form a characteristic "M" shape and while hair loss from the crown may lead to partial or complete baldness.

The pattern of hair loss in women differs from male-pattern baldness. In women, the hair becomes thinner all over the head, and the hairline does not recede. Androgenetic alopecia in women rarely leads to total baldness. Androgenetic alopecia can start in some men in their 20s and more than 50 percent of men over the age of 50 years have some degree of hair loss. In women, hair loss is most commonly observed after menopause.

The trigger factors for Androgenetic Alopecia can be hormonal changes, stress, hereditary, usage of certain medications, frequent experimentation with hair & deficiencies of nutrients. A variety of genetic and environmental factors also play a role in causing androgenetic alopecia.
