In this video, we'll take a walk around the beautiful Wulin Village where we'll also catch many visitors wearing traditional Fujianese (Hokkien) & Peranakan clothing.

Wulin Ancient Village (Chinese: 梧林古村 or 梧林传统村落) is a popular tourist attraction in Fujian province famous for its attractive blend of ancient East Asian & Western architecture. Located in Jinjiang (a suburb of Quanzhou city), Wulin is famously the ancestral home of a large number of overseas Chinese.

This roughly half a square mile (1 sq km) village was founded during the reign of the Hongwu Emperor of the Ming dynasty & it has since harbored a variety of southern Chinese styled houses, Western Gothic & Romanesque buildings, as well as many residences of renowned overseas Chinese figures, many of whom had returned to Fujian to build houses after emigrating to other parts of the world. The aged architecture preserved in this village includes over a dozen western styled houses or Fanzailou (番仔楼) meaning "Foreign Houses", as well as dozens of well preserved & restored Ming, Qing & Republic of China era buildings.

梧林传统村落，坐落于泉州晋江，地处闽南金三角的中心位置，与台湾一水之隔，三面临海。东北连泉州湾，东与石狮市接壤，东南濒临台湾海峡，南与金门岛隔海相望，西与南安市交界，北与鲤城区相邻。梧林村落形成于明洪武年间。清末，梧林开始有人旅居海外，随后陆续有旅居海外的华侨回国出资建造了大量精美的洋楼，村庄规模逐渐扩大，建筑风格亦逐步多元化。村庄辖区面积约1平方公里，户籍人口1800多人，海外侨胞有1.5万人，有“华侨建筑博物馆”之美称，是名副其实的侨乡。

2016年被国家住建部列入中国传统村落名录；2017年入选省重点项目，与国家“十三五”重点项目晋华集成电路产业园、800亩田园风光串联成晋江“芯”小镇并入选福建省第二批特色小镇创建名单。

2019年11月，梧林传统村落“体验式闽南侨文化度假目的地”正式启动规划建设。2021年10月荣获国家3A级旅游景区。 2023年7月成为国家4A级旅游景区。
