In this week’s episode I talk about the need for radios during emergencies such as the current wildfires in California and the postponement of the demolition of the Moossbrunn rotating SW antenna. I talk about a rare MW catch of a South Africa MW station in Finland, plans for a new MW station targeting Russia that have been delayed; and the incredible reach and growth of the USAGM networks. I have two reception reports today, one from Lew in Glasgow, Scotland, and one from Sebastian in north-western Germany. I end with the usual HF propagation forecast.

UPDATE: Just a day after I uploaded this podcast, the Moosbrunn antennas were demolished.
