We just released a quick breakdown of the Phrecia 2.0 event in Path of Exile 1, including the brand-new Ascendancy changes and how the event plays — but before we dive deeper, it’s VERY IMPORTANT to clarify that:

🟥 This is not a league.
The Phrecia event runs for three weeks only and is tied into the Keepers league’s ruleset (Keepers of the Flame) — meaning your characters remain in Keepers and all acquired items carry over when the event ends.

The event runs from January 29th to February 19th, 2026 and gives players a rare chance to experiment with 19 alternate Ascendancies, new mechanics, and a very unique twist on progression.

🧠 WHAT MAKES PHRECIA 2.0 SPECIAL

✨ Alternate Ascendancy Classes — Every class gets a brand-new Ascendancy option that replaces the usual ones for the event. These are wild, experimental, and break the normal playstyles in fun ways.
