A Night Alone In Alaska (ASMR)

Welcome back to the cabin! The trail is finally open and I was able to make the first trip of the year by four wheeler. Spring has come late. As you can see, most of the bushes are still without leaves, and the lake below is locked in ice. Even so, it is good to be back. Everything is as I left it the last time I was here. Even the squirrel has stayed outside.

There is a lot to be done here this year. We need to finish sanding the exterior logs and get a coat of finish on them. There is also metal to install on the gable ends. We will get started on those chores in the next couple of weeks or so.

I love the early morning light this time of year. The nights are getting brighter and brighter. The opening shots in this video were taken in the middle of the night. Welcome to the land of the midnight sun!
