Scott Galloway is one of the few guests we've invited back on #BriefButSpectacular for multiple visits and this clip explains why. When Scott was accepted to UCLA for undergrad, the admissions rate was 70%. Today, it hovers just below 9%.

As he puts it, "unless you are one of two cohorts, those being the children of rich people who can afford test-prep, who have friends who can nudge the admissions committee...or two you're part of a cohort that I would affectionately refer to as freakishly remarkable, you're not getting the same opportunities my generation had."

This week, UCLA and The University of California, Berkeley announced that they had received a $12 million gift from Scott to fund a new program that gives non-traditional students access to the skills and resources they need to launch their careers at no cost.
