These are the words of Mr. Alec Penstone, age 100, arguably the most highly decorated veteran of the Royal Navy in the Second World War who remains living today, which he spoke earlier this morning on the ITV breakfast show, and I will append the relevant footage to the beginning of this video.
I want you to pay particular attention to how shabbily and shamefully and dismissively he's treated by the hosts of the program, for having committed the awful transgression of saying words that are contrary to the globalist, neo-liberal, multicultural worldview that they and everyone else in the legacy news media are paid to promote as if it's a state religion, which it basically is.
Instead of engaging with Mr. Penstone's words, or asking him to elaborate on why he's so heartbroken at the state of his country whose freedom he fought to defend over eight decades ago, they just give him a little patronizing pat on the head and shift straight to "Let's wrap this thing up as quickly as possible before the old codger says any more politically incorrect things."
"We're going to give you a compact disc, Mr. Penstone, isn't that just the grandest gesture on our part? Okay, off you go, no more talking."
Why did they even bring Mr. Penstone into the studio? Because it's Remembrance Week, the week each November when the British media, and the Canadian media, and the Australian media, still go through the motions of wearing the little poppy on their lapel and pretending they care about the commemoration of Armistice Day, which they don't really.
In point of fact, they want the few remaining war veterans to hurry up and die so they don't have to keep pretending they give a damn about any of this stuff.
