Talks at Google welcomes Michael Strautmanis, Chief Engagement Officer at the Obama Foundation. Michael was a 22-year old bike messenger who carried a business suit in his bag when he talked his way into an internship at a Chicago law firm. It was there that he asked a young Michelle Robinson to be his mentor. He met her hotshot fiancé, Barack, on a basketball court soon after.

Hear about Michael’s journey working alongside President and Mrs. Obama, finding creative ways to inspire and empower people to change their world for the better -- as well as his return home to Chicago to give back to the community that raised him.

About the Obama Foundation:
The Obama Foundation is a non-partisan 501(c)(3) non-profit that aims to inspire, empower, and connect people to change their world. That mission begins at home, on the South Side of Chicago, where they’re building the Obama Presidential Center, but it extends to all their work, whether it's holding leadership training sessions in communities throughout the U.S., bringing local leaders together in countries around the world, working to support the global education of girls, or ensuring young men of color have pathways to opportunity.
