Sony PVM 20L5 CRT Monitor Colour Calibration

Since gaming on a Sony BVM 20F1, switching to the PVM 20L5 felt like a downgrade. The white balance was far from optimal and I needed help with additional hardware and software to calibrate the RGB values. Using a Spyder2 probe and HCFR software I was able to make whites look pure and colours much more vivid. The PVM 20L5 now holds its own against the BVM, and its Multi Format capabilities make it a true upgrade.
