In this video I show how to equalize the congas (popular latin drums). The congas are a very important instrument in latin music. They are the foundation of rhythms like salsa, son, guaguanco, cumbia, etc.

The best way to equalize the congas is with a parametric EQ, so you can "target" the right frequencies to boost or to cut as needed. The final decision will always depend on the context of the mix, the other instruments in the mix and personal taste.
