🫖 It feels like I have been speaking about what feels like a massive marketing "secret" everywhere lately (but I am thinking just in the live events and client calls I have done recently) so I thought I better share it here too... 🫖

Look, it may not be a secret to you but I have been watching the penny drop on so many people's faces when I mention this I thought maybe it's new to you too? 🤔

So often in marketing, we chase tactics: posting at a specific time, nailing our email subject lines, and using the right hashtags... Yet we overlook the fundamentals. One of these fundamentals is that the core goal of marketing is to make people feel safe. ✅

How can you make your dream clients feel safe?
😍 Listen to your dream clients' questions on sales calls, in Facebook groups (that's more reading but you get my meaning) and on Instagram and share your message about how you can help them in their language.
😍 Share your dream clients' fears and doubts and their dreams and aspirations - what keeps them up at 3am and what do they secretly long for?
😍 Show up consistently - same aesthetic, same voice, same message on the same channels, at the same time, in the same style.
😍 When your dream clients move between platforms i.e. from Instagram to your website ensure that the customer experience is consistent: same branding, same quality of delivery. Avoid having a slick Instagram and a sloppy website.

🙏 All of these things help our clients trust us at a subconscious, instinctual level and help them feel safe.

😍 When we listen, understand, empathise and then engage people in a way that makes them feel heard, understood and cared for. The underlying feeling is one of safety.
