President-elect Donald Trump is all set to hold the Oval Office as the 47th President on January 20, 2025. With 312 electoral votes, Republican Trump clinched a historic victory and defeated Democrat VP Kamala Harris. As the invitations for the inaugural ceremony were in order, Russian President Vladimir Putin was omitted from the inauguration. Kremlin said that they had not received an invitation to attend the inauguration of the US President-elect Donald Trump. Earlier, Trump invited Chinese President Xi Jinping to attend his inauguration next month, CBS News reported. The invitation was sent early in Nov, shortly after the results; however, it was not clear if it had been accepted, CBS reported. Notably, Xi congratulated Trump on winning the election but the answer to whether Beijing has accepted the invitation is still awaited
