TAPA APAC held its first members’ event of the year, the New Year Celebration Lunch, at the Aon Office in Singapore. The event brought together over 50 members, partners, and guest for an afternoon of meaningful connection, engagement and knowledge exchange.

Opening the event, Mr. Tony Lugg, TAPA APAC chairperson, welcomed attendees and warm New Year wishes. Tony’s address also focused on emerging and often underestimated risks across the supply chain, including internal theft, scrap leakage, counterfeiting, and brand protection, particularly within Asia Pacific, the world’s largest manufacturing base.

He highlighted the financial, operational, and reputational impact of these risks, reinforcing TAPA APAC’s commitment to developing practical, auditable standards that promote accountability across manufacturers, logistics service providers, and brand owners.
