Menstruation is still a taboo worldwide, affecting over 1.9 billion people! 🌍 Good menstrual health is crucial but often hindered by poor infrastructure, stigma, and lack of products. In low- and middle-income countries like Zambia, these challenges are even greater.

🌟 The #kickTheSTIGMA campaign aims to break taboos and promote menstrual health and hygiene. Join us to support gender equality and better health! Zambian National team female players Barbra Banda, Inonge Kaloustian and Evarine Katongo are the Goodwill Ambassadors for the #kickTheSTIGMA campaign, which was produced with support from German Development Cooperation / Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on behalf of Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) – in cooperation with the FitForSchool Africa Initiative, the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), CaDev_Capacity Development and the Sustainable Sanitation Alliance Network (SuSanA).
