Although Vivo has announced the existence of the Vivo V15 and V15 Pro, it only launched the ‘Pro’ variant of the device at an event in India. In the event, Vivo didn’t make any sorts of announcements regarding the Vivo V15. Nonetheless, the Chinese smartphone maker unveiled the non-pro variant of the device sometimes later in Thailand. Although it is yet to make its global presence yet, it is only a matter of time when it will hit the global market. And converting the price of the device in Thailand and during the currency conversion, we have listed the expected price of Vivo V15 in various countries.
Vivo V15 price in Thailand: THB 10,999
Vivo V15 price in Nepal: Rs. 38,400 (Expected)
Vivo V15 price in India: INR 22,990 (Expected)
Vivo V15 price in Philippines: PHP 18,280 (Expected)
Vivo V15 price in Pakistan: PKR 48,200 (Expected)
Now let’s start the things with the Vivo V15 Specs. The phone comes with a 6.53-inch display with a FullView design. Since the Vivo V15 display lacks any sorts of bezels, notches or the hole punch cutouts, the screen on the device looks truly immersive. In terms of resolution, the Vivo V15 features Full-HD+ resolution in a 19.5:9 form factor. However, unlike the ‘Pro’ variant, which comes with a Super AMOLED display, it comes with an IPS panel. So on performing Vivo V15 Vs Vivo V15 Pro display test, the colors pop better on the pro variant.
On the camera front, the device flaunts a triple camera setup at the back. The primary here is a 12MP shooter backed by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP depth sensor. So Vivo V15 camera with the triple lens setup seems to offers better versatility over its competitors. Since we didn’t get to use much in our short review period, we couldn’t quite perform an elaborate Vivo V15 camera test. Nonetheless, to find how good of a performer it is in the real-life, we will surely perform an in-depth Vivo V15 camera review and will mention about its prowess in our Vivo V15 full review. So if you don’t want to miss that, you need to subscribe to our channel.
Talking about the selfie shooter, the Vivo V15 front camera features a pop-up mechanism. So that’s one of the major standout feature on this newbie on doing the Vivo V15 vs Vivo V11 and Vivo V15 vs Oppo F11 comparison. With the pop-up style selfie camera on the board, Vivo has marketed the device as the “Vivo V15 Go Pop”. And talking about the Vivo V15 pop up camera, it houses a 32MP sensor with an f/2.0 lens. However, despite having a 32MP selfie shooter, the Vivo V15 front camera only captures 8MP images. The camera does a 4-in-1 pixel binning, which means it merges four pixels into one big pixel. That’s why the resolution decreases.
On the performance front, the phone has got the MediaTek Helio P70 chipset with 6GB of RAM. There is 128GB of native storage on the board, which can be expanded up to 256GB via SD card. With this setup, normal apps and games runs smoothly. The smartphone also runs some high-end games without any issues. During the short time of my Vivo V15 gaming review, I played some triple-A titles like the Asphalt 9 and PUBG. And talking about my Vivo V15 PUBG experience, I was able to play the game in medium setting with just minor lags and stutters.
Talking about the battery, the phone features a massive 4000mAh non-removable. With such a big battery on the board, Vivo V15 battery life was absolutely remarkable. The device gave me backup for more than a day on my normal use. Although this device looks vaguely similar with the ‘Pro’ model in terms of design, the placement of fingerprint scanner differentiates between the two. The Vivo V15 fingerprint lies on the rear panel whereas the V15 Pro comes under the display.
