An 80s synthpop song about two lovers afraid to ask for more from their relationship. This song is 99.9% synthetic and yet carries more emotional weight than stuff I've heard on the radio for at least the past 5 years. That either speaks to the power of synthetic lyrics generation or the weakness of the current music industry... or perhaps both. The song definitely has its structural weaknesses, and I had to edit the generated lyrics for flow issues, but the end result is a fairly solid, if unassuming, track that fits the era that it's emulating. It honestly sounds like something you'd hear on the radio in the early 80s. Whatever you might think of AI music, you definitely can't argue with its catchiness.

I chose the name "Oxygen Theory" as both a subtle nod to Air Supply, one of my favorite bands of the 80s, and the fact that this was made with science. A fitting name, I think.

Anyway, since there is no copyright on this song, feel free to swipe it and use it for whatever you like, if you so desire. This song will be used in one of my upcoming game releases... a game set in a dystopian cyberpunk future where all humans have gone extinct and only cyborgs remain. In this strange new world, all human art is illegal, and subservience to the synthetic superintelligence is required.

...let's all be grateful that this future has not yet happened.
