Resistances, and all other forms of Damage Reduction, undergo Diminishing Returns in Diablo 4. This means that the more and more you put in, the less benefit you get out. But this isn't a bad thing! It allows you to properly invest, while prioritizing stronger defensive stats on your Armor pieces, rather than wasting the affixes on large Resistance stats. In this video I detail the "secret" Resistance scaling in higher world tiers that also greatly reduces your survivability and what you need to look out for to make sure your defenses are up to par so you can survive in the end-game.
