Favorite Supplements for my Hormones, Thyroid, and more!

From Jenna: "Today, I want to talk a little about supplements. Prior to the program, I was taking too many supplements. I decreased them to only a few, including Vit D, Vit C, and a probiotic. In the program, I learned what I needed to take based on DATA. Here are a few of my favorites: Digest-it-so for low stomach acid/poor digestion, Ironworks along with Digest-it to help me absorb iron since I was anemic when I started the program. After about a week, I was already feeling so much better and could tell I was absorbing iron. I also love Pro Methyl B12, as many of us are low in B12, and this is taken sublingually. It bypasses the gut and goes straight into the bloodstream. As you know, I've had some thyroid discoveries and really need protection there. I've started taking a high dose of Vit A, Brazilian nuts for selenium, and Thyroid Protect (a glutathione cream that protects against cancer and reduces nodule size). With regards to my hormones, I discovered that I am estrogen dominant with low everything. I started taking Progest-It, a bio-identical hormone that I apply on my skin, Equi Fem, a super supplement that will help boost my hormone-making organs and help with adrenal fatigue, Love Her to help with estrogen dominance, and Slow Flow to help with heavy periods.

Working with the MyMD shop has been amazing. I ordered online and am notified at every step along the way. It usually arrives a little early. I'm grateful for the knowledge I have gained about testing and how to increase or decrease supplements based on data, and also how to track and log supplements as I move forward.
