Happy to have her! Smiley is one of many squirrels (4-5 of them) who visit every day. Sure, they wipe out the feed supply, but they belong, too. I occasionally supplement a few walnuts or Brazil nuts especially for them. I refuse to baffle my squirrels, who often wait patiently for the birds to finish at the feeder when the birds are there first; if not, the birds get scraps after 10a -- cuz who knew? squirrels around here are late risers. Anyway, the early bird (always a cardi, typically ~6:10-6:25am) gets the choice seeds.

(For the record, ONE of these lil guys [probably mischievous Jack Squirrel, the one with the hole in his right ear, cuz he's edgy punk] stole the white stopper to my feeder, either to refill the feed tray for himself - to create unlimited supply, which he achieved, so gotta reward the insight- or because it would look cute or serve some higher purpose in their nest, AND I WANT IT BACK! 🤨 He has not yet complied.)
