River View Restaurant - Pathum Thani

Sawadee khap my puan puan khun Thai and farangutan friends. After a few days away in Sangkhla Buri and Kanchanaburi we made our way back home. We had an interesting night at The Resort in Kanchanaburi. What is this place? Is it a classy restaurant with live music or an upmarket girlie bar? Is it a bit of both? You have waitresses and hostesses. The waitresses are appropriately dressed, and the hostesses are all in short skirts, with their nom prominently on display. They hang around single guys or groups of men giggling and what have you. I have seen groups turned away because they may have a child with them. That, by the way, includes anyone under 21 years of age as we discovered when we tried to get in with our Thai nephew when he was 18 years old. We were turned away twice with him.
We also had an issue with booze. We ordered a small bottle of Regency. The waitress poured our drinks and The Na'ster noticed that there wasn't a lot of alcohol in her drink and that it was mostly soda. When I looked round, we were on Jamerson's and NOT regency. We called the hostesses who had taken our initial order and she started pulling her face because they would take the money for the Jamerson's out of her wages. Sorry, but tough! It was her mistake. That was my opinion on it. The Jamerson's costs considerably more than a half bottle of regency. Na'ster, however, has a softer heart than I and decided to let it go and pay for the bottle of Jamerson's. She wasn't happy when she found out that we had to pay for the soda on top of the whisky as it was supposed to be included in the promotion!
Anyhow, we decided we wouldn't go to The Resort again. We'll see!
We needed some food on the way home and decided to stop on the Pathum Thani side of the Chao Phraya. We didn't find the restaurant we went to last time - it's on the channel - but we did find the River View Restaurant. A bit of a hidden gem. Nothing over the top or fancy. Quite vintage in style and small. The food was great. We had several prawn dishes, all nice and fresh. I couldn't find anything online at first. I asked ChatGPT and it gave me an address:

They don't have a website. If you put this in to maps or an AI search, you should be able to find the place.
